WINNING THE WAR ON TERRORISM
Increased terrorist activities at home and abroad continues to threaten the U.S. at unprecedented levels. In order to prevent the next terrorist attack robust lines of communication are required between Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies and Private entities that form our critical national infrastructure.
WHAT IS TITAN?
TITAN is a joint Los Angeles FIG and JTTF internet based intelligence sharing initiative and alert network designed to collect and disseminate information relating to terrorist operations and related criminal activities to Law Enforcement and Critical Asset Partners (Corporations & Organizations) within the Southern California area.
The TITAN territory includes the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Luis Obispo, Ventura and Santa Barbara.
WHO SHOULD BECOME A PARTNER?
Both corporate and government personnel should be a part of this advisory system. Corporate and Organizational participation is necessary since they are the owners and operators of our nation's infrastructure. Government agencies are also necessary since they act as intelligence collection and dissemination points, as well as the response entity to disasters, criminal activity, or acts of terrorism.
